Job description

Design, develop, test, and maintain custom ERP applications and system integrations.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions across multiple teams.
Build and support REST APIs and application services using modern backend frameworks.
Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and support deployment pipelines.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, conduct code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Produce technical documentation and provide mentorship to junior developers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
Extensive experience with Progress 4GL and OpenEdge application development
Strong foundation in object-oriented programming, SQL, and Linux/Unix environments
Hands-on experience with Progress databases, and OpenEdge Studio, PASOE, WebSpeed
Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and API testing tools
Familiarity with source control and CI/CD tooling, including GitHub, Azure DevOps and Jenkins
Solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Experience with Kendo UI, .NET, or MS SQL Server is a plus
