Job description

We are looking for an Application Owner - Digital Workplace to help shape the future of digitalization for almost 200,000 users worldwide. You will be responsible for managing globally used applications and ensuring they are delivered, maintained, and continuously improved across different regions and business units.

  • Own and manage globally deployed applications within the Digital Workplace environment.
  • Define standards for application configuration, packaging, deployment, updates, and lifecycle management.
  • Coordinate software demand and collaborate with business stakeholders to align needs and priorities.
  • Manage release, change, and configuration activities following established processes.
  • Provide support, consulting, and incident/problem management guidance.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Support license management, software financials, and internal charging processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and global standardization efforts.
  • Drive communication across technical and non-technical audiences at different management levels.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in IT application management, digital workplace, or similar environments.
  • Experience with:
  • Microsoft Windows
  • Enterprise applications such as Adobe Reader
  • Experience managing cross-functional IT projects and third-party suppliers.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
  • Understanding of software lifecycle and configuration management.
  • Experience communicating with business stakeholders and senior management.
  • Knowledge of .NET environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Scrum Product Owner certification is a plus.
  • German is a plus, * Strong customer orientation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Conflict management and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to connect business needs, policies, projects, and operations.
