As an experienced Data Scientist/Business Analyst you have a proven track record in successfully managing laboratory research or clinical data projects. Your professional background and experience enables you to efficiently support our customers in bridging between IT and business to build and optimize their IT landscape.

Your Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Work through our customer’s entire data ecosystem to understand their needs and where to find and collect that information
  • Build and program machine learning on Databricks and statistical models based on digital, molecular, biobanking, clinical or Real World Evidence data.
  • Advise on advanced data analytics both in standard statistics and machine learning activities
  • Support the evaluation of the designed models and present results through data visualization
  • Drive the execution of data science experiments based on business requirements and data and present the results to business stakeholders
  • Advise team members on the design and scientific background of statistical models
  • Organize knowledge sharing sessions in order to teach Data Science basic principles to project team members

Requirements

Do you have experience in SAS?, * University Degree in Statistics, Biology, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, etc.

  • 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience in Data Engineering within Life Sciences R&D domain
  • Good understanding and work exposure with AWS Databricks
  • Experience in data wrangling, modelling, integrating and comparing a wide range of clinical data types
  • At least 3 years of experience in applying major data science, statistics and machine learning algorithms (e.g. Data Science, Support Vector Machines, Neural Nets, Deep Learning, Machine Learning) and methods for exploratory, and confirmatory data analysis in mid to large volume data sets
  • Experience in regulated environments (GxP, GAMP, 21 CFR Part 11) and IT projects
  • Substantial experience with SAS/R and/or Python, ideally in Pharma
  • Work well within a team and collaborate with individuals with technical and non-technical backgrounds
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Work exposure within an international environment in life sciences field
  • Fluent in English (in writing and speaking), sound German or French skills (in writing and speaking)
