Job description
We are an international player and leader in the network & communications for the defense sector, cyber security and critical systems for public transportation infrastructure, including the development and production of high-tech integrated complex systems. Product innovation and efficiently deploying the latest technologies are what motivates us.
About the team
The Hardware Engineering department consists of around 30 employees and is primarily responsible for developing and qualifying high-quality new products, as well as maintaining existing ones. This includes both mechanical and electronic aspects. Additionally the department is responsible for production preparations. The focus of the electronic development is on designing electronic circuits, which ultimately leads to a functional printed circuit board assembly (PCBA).
About your future job
As a Senior Electronic Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of complex Printed Circuit Boards (PCBAs). You will translate the provided architecture into an electronic schematic, including a bill of materials (BOM) and all necessary documentation. The Board Layout of the circuit boards is carried out by specialized layout engineers, so this task does not fall within your responsibilities.
You will be responsible for the validation of the design, utilizing simulations and tests. For this purpose, you will have access to a state-of-the-art lab equipped with all the necessary measurement equipment to test and validate the design.
Within the department, you will work in multidisciplinary development teams of approximately eight individuals, where you will serve as the lead engineer and play a key role in the development process of new products.
