Job description

The Operation Manager for the Innovation Center at Nationwide Children’s Hospital runs and operates a biomedical engineering fellowship program centered around the BioDesign process as well as managing existing and new innovation portfolio projects in collaboration with fellows, The Office of Technology Commercialization, clinician innovators, and other relevant stakeholders. Additionally, the Operation Manager runs and operates clinical observations for fellows as well as innovation education programs, workshops, internal grant opportunities, and early commercialization activities in collaboration with clinicians. Experience in related programs or projects will be required and will need to be demonstrated in a cover letter in order to be considered., Leads cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and monitor projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality parameters., * Develops project plans and timelines to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.

  • Manages project budgets when applicable and ensures financial goals are met.
  • Leads project team meetings and provides direction to team members.
  • Monitors project progress and addresses any issues that arise.
  • Communicates project status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensures project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Certified Project Manager certification?, Do you have experience in Driving?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, * Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience, required.

  • Master’s Degree, preferred., * Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and efficiently provide time management.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented with the ability to work well independently.

Experience:

Three years of relevant program or project support, required.

Physical Requirements:

OCCASIONALLY: Bend/twist, Climb stairs/ladder, Driving motor vehicles (work required) *additional testing may be required, Flexing/extending of neck, Hand use: grasping, gripping, turning, Lifting / Carrying: 0-10 lbs, Pushing / Pulling: 0-25 lbs, Reaching above shoulder, Squat/kneel, Standing
