Job description

AWS Platform Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an AWS Platform Engineer to join one of our Insurance clients on a 12 month contract.

Experience

Experience of configuring pricing system products previously and/or experience of writing, testing and developing within a programming language such as XML, C++, Python and R or similar would be equally useful.
Ability to work with business stakeholders to translate and prioritise business requirements into technical solutions is highly desirable
Strong AWS cloud/Infrastructure experience
An understanding of technology in product development is highly desirable
An understanding of full project life cycle in a structured environment would be an advantage
Strong writing skills to produce comprehensive and accurate documentation
Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft technologies
The role would be suitable for someone with a technical degree or background in computing or a STEM subject (Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
