IT Subject Matter Specialist (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced IT Subject Matter Specialist (SME) to provide expert technical guidance and strategic support across enterprise IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in enterprise application architecture, software development, cloud technologies, DevSecOps, IT modernization, and systems integration. This role requires serving as a trusted technical advisor, providing recommendations on emerging technologies, reviewing technical solutions, supporting project teams, and ensuring enterprise technology solutions align with business and operational objectives., * Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise across enterprise IT programs and initiatives.

• Analyze complex business and technical requirements and recommend scalable, secure, and cost-effective technology solutions.
• Advise project teams on enterprise architecture, application development, cloud technologies, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and system integration.
• Review solution architectures, technical designs, implementation plans, and project deliverables to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
• Support software development, modernization, automation, cloud migration, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, cloud engineers, business analysts, cybersecurity teams, and project managers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and system performance.
• Provide technical guidance on cloud-native development, DevSecOps, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Assist in identifying technical risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical governance meetings, solution design workshops, and project planning sessions.
• Support enterprise application integration, API development, and modernization efforts.
• Develop technical documentation, standards, best practices, and implementation guidelines.
• Mentor technical teams by sharing knowledge and promoting engineering best practices.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, accessibility, and enterprise governance requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience providing technical leadership within enterprise IT environments.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture and software development methodologies.
• Experience supporting cloud computing, application modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience with enterprise systems integration and API-based solutions.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience evaluating technical solutions and providing strategic technology recommendations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders across multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting enterprise modernization initiatives.
• Experience working with cloud-native applications and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and secure software development practices.
• Experience with data analytics and visualization technologies.
• Experience mentoring technical teams and supporting enterprise architecture initiatives.
