Job description
· Design and develop proof of concepts and demonstrators in various verticals including smart manufacturing, process automation, smart building, smart grid, etc.
· Contribute to the standards draft, technical publication and white papers
· Engaging with industrial partners for potential collaboration and joint innovation
· Attend top-tier conferences, industrial fairs and events to explore potential business cases and networking requirements, * To keep your development ongoing, you will find a broad range of training opportunities. Many online and face-to-face training programs incl. language courses in German and Mandarin.

Requirements
· Possess a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
· Solid background in industrial networking protocols and technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, TSN, Single Pair Ethernet, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, etc.)
· Familiarity with bus protocols (such as CAN, RS485, MII/RMII, etc.) and the working mechanisms of Ethernet physical layers (10/100/1000BASE-T, etc.)
· Deep understanding of transmission line theory (such as characteristic impedance, propagation delay, reflection, crosstalk, etc.) and its impact on actual cabling and communication quality
· Fast learner and team player
· Familiarity with various industrial verticals including smart manufacturing, transportation, smart grid, smart city, etc.
· Fluent in English
· Familiar with AI networking is a plus
· Relevant standardization and industrial development experience is a plus
