Job description

Lead the design, architecture, and successful delivery of large-scale technology solutions for complex business problems across multiple teams. Drive technical strategy by identifying and mitigating systemic risks and architectural deficiencies. Serve as the primary technical leader and consultant for cross-functional teams, orchestrating the integration of complex distributed systems. Lead reviews of system architecture, operations, and post-incident analysis to ensure organizational resilience and performance. Work backwards from the both internal and external customer experience to define team priorities and influence business strategy. Deliver through others by mentoring senior staff, hiring and developing talent, and building consensus across discordant technical views to deliver pragmatic, long-term technical solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered, or as a Systems Engineer, Software Developer, or a related occupation. Employer will accept seven years of experience in the job offered or related occupation as equivalent to the Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience. Must have five years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) Leading the design and automation of large-scale infrastructure and distributed cloud services; (2) Architecting solutions that optimize stability, scalability, and performance across distributed software systems; (3) programming and scripting in modern languages including Python, Ruby, Go, or Java, to refactor existing solutions and build new software frameworks; and (4) leading post-incident analysis and root-cause investigations to drive long-term resilience and engineering best practices., Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered, or as a Systems Engineer, Software Developer, or a related occupation. 40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $151,200/year to $204,600/year.
