- Own, refine, and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Write clear, detailed, and technically sound user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional/non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and convert them into actionable development tasks.
Technical & Domain Expertise:
- Leverage deep understanding of the insurance domain to support product decisions and system enhancements.
- Work closely with architects, developers, QA, and business analysts to design technical solutions.
- Participate in technical discussions and ensure efficient integration across systems.
Agile Delivery & Collaboration:
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, retrospectives).
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team.
- Promote Agile best practices and contribute to process improvements.
Communication & Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate product vision, roadmap, and priorities clearly to cross-functional teams.
- Provide status updates, clarify requirements, and manage stakeholder expectations.

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Owner with strong experience in the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have deep familiarity with Agile methodologies, hands-on experience in writing technical user stories, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and business teams. You will be responsible for defining product requirements, prioritizing the backlog, and ensuring successful delivery of high quality technical solutions aligned with business goals., * 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Product Owner, Technical Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Proven experience writing technical user stories and collaborating with engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile practices, frameworks (Scrum/Kanban), and delivery processes.
- Experience in insurance industry (policy admin, claims, underwriting, billing, or related systems).
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
Benefits & conditions
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $26.00/hour - $40.63/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
