Job description

As a Graduate Design Engineer, you’ll support the design and development of engineering solutions from concept through to manufacture. Working within a collaborative engineering team, you’ll produce 3D models, manufacturing drawings and engineering documentation while contributing to product improvements and new product development., * Produce 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using CAD software

  • Assist in creating manufacturing drawings and engineering bills of materials (BOMs)
  • Support product development and continuous improvement projects
  • Investigate engineering issues and identify effective root cause solutions
  • Work closely with Production, Manufacturing, Quality and Service teams
  • Support engineering change processes
  • Contribute to prototype development, testing and design for manufacture
  • Ensure designs comply with company engineering standards

Requirements

This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious graduate looking to develop their technical skills within a fast-paced manufacturing environment., * Degree (2:2 or above) in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline

  • Good understanding of engineering principles
  • Experience using 3D CAD software
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Good IT and numerical skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work effectively within a team

Desirable

  • Experience using Creo/Pro-Engineer
  • Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Familiarity with Product Data Management (PDM) systems
