Software Engineer 3

We are seeking a Software Engineer 3 to serve as a core member of an engineering team responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining scalable software applications. This role requires hands-on development experience across modern cloud technologies, microservices, APIs, and web-based applications. The ideal candidate will be passionate about software craftsmanship, agile development, and delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer and business needs., * Partner with customers, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand use cases, requirements, and pain points, ensuring user-centric solutions.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Create scalable software architectures and determine appropriate technology stacks, integration patterns, and deployment strategies.
• Develop and maintain microservices, APIs, and custom web-based applications.
• Build intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly front-end interfaces.
• Develop back-end services using modern server-side technologies and cloud-native architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Architecture, UX/UI, and DevOps.
• Implement software testing strategies and ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and organizational guidelines.
• Utilize modern engineering practices including Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD).
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure, and performance issues within Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Support security best practices including data protection, encryption, and secure application development.
• Manage application environments, including server configurations, databases, and security controls.
• Contribute to Test Data Management solutions utilizing industry standards such as ASAM ODS.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to improve product capabilities and development efficiency.
• Break down complex requirements into incremental, production-ready user stories and technical solutions.
• Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to modernize solutions and improve overall platform performance., This role requires a hands-on software engineer who can independently deliver high-quality code while contributing to architecture, design, and technical strategy. The engineer will work closely with product leads and business stakeholders to deliver scalable cloud-based solutions, optimize application performance, and support enterprise software platforms leveraging modern development practices and Google Cloud technologies.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6+ years of overall IT experience.
• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages, or advanced expertise in one programming language.
• Experience developing cloud-native applications within Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Strong experience with full-stack software development, including front-end and back-end technologies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience developing test data management solutions.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise applications and cloud modernization initiatives.
• Familiarity with automotive or engineering data platforms.
