Job description
As a QA Tester, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. Your responsibilities will involve manual testing across both desktop and mobile platforms, as well as close collaboration with development and QA teams to identify, document and resolve defects before product release.
- Manual Testing: Execute detailed manual test cases on desktop and mobile applications to ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements.
- Defect Tracking and Resolution: Collaborate with development to report, track, and resolve defects efficiently, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
- Test Case Development: Design and develop comprehensive test cases that cover all aspects of the software, including edge cases and potential failure points.
- Test Planning: Contribute to creation and refinement of test plans and strategies ensuring all features are thoroughly tested before release.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain a high standard of quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle, identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Software Development Lifecycle Knowledge: Strong understanding of QA and software development lifecycles.
- Communication: Proficient in reading and writing in English (at least a B2 level).
- Tool Proficiency: Experience with Jira, Confluence, and test management tools.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and meticulousness.
- Proactivity and Problem-Solving: Ability to handle ad-hoc requests and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration: Team player who works flexibly and collaboratively.
Desired Skills:
- Test Automation Experience: Familiarity with Selenium and Appium.
- Programming Knowledge: Basic understanding of JavaScript.
- IDE Experience: Experience with IntelliJ, Eclipse or similar tools.
- Functional Analysis: Experience in functional analysis and test case design.
- Continuous Learning: Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
