Robotics Software Engineer - C++ / ROS2 / Linux Are you an experienced Software Engineer with strong expertise in C++ and ROS2, combined with a background in robotics and Linux environments? If so, our client - an innovative tech-for-good start-up - is looking to hire a Robotics Software Engineer based in Cambridge, UK, supporting operations across both UK and EU teams. Key responsibilities: Design, develop, and test software systems for advanced robotic platforms using C++ & ROS 2. Collaborate with electronics, mechatronics, and research teams within an Agile development environment Test, debug, and validate software performance and reliability

Provide on-site support for physical robotic systems, including occasional travel to field locations To be successful, you should have: 3 Years experience in an industry Software Design position. A degree (or Master’s) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline Strong commercial experience with C++ (C++14 or later) and Linux Extensive hands-on experience with ROS2 (ROS1 knowledge also beneficial)
