About Us¿Interesado en saber más sobre este trabajo?Desplácese hacia abajo y descubra qué habilidades, experiencia y cualificaciones académicas se necesitan.Gunvor Group is one of the world’s largest independent commodities trading houses by turnover, creating logistics solutions that safely and efficiently move physical energy from where it is sourced and stored to where it is demanded most.With strategic investments in industrial infrastructure-refineries, pipelines, storage, and terminals-Gunvor further generates sustainable value across the global supply chain for its customers.Gunvor, founded in **, generated US $50 billion in revenues on volumes of 191 million MT in **.Gunvor is the largest independent LNG trader in the world.Job TitleSystem Engineer (Permanent)Job DescriptionThe System Engineer will be based at Gunvor’s office in Istanbul or in London (with a hybrid work setup) and reports to the System Engineer Team Lead.The System Engineer is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure globally.This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.Assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of our standard Project Management Methodology.Responsibilities include defining needs, benefits and technical strategy, research & development within the project lifecycle, technical analysis and design, and supporting operations staff in executing, testing and rolling out solutions.Participation on projects focuses on smoothing the transition of projects from development staff to production staff by performing operations activities within the project lifecycle.The primary role is providing 3rd?level infrastructure support for all IT systems, and providing telephone/email/remote technical support to other offices as required for centralized systems accessible globally, e.g., email, Active Directory, virtualization, etc.Main ResponsibilitiesAdminister Exchange (O365 & On?prem) server and mail connectors, including email gateways and an international multi?site environmentDevelop and maintain procedures and processes needed to administer Active Directory / MS ExchangeInstall new or rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirementsAdminister, maintain, deploy, enhance server products and platforms (physical and virtual servers and storage)Upgrade and configure system software that supports Gunvor business applicationsApply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis following change management proceduresOversee personnel responsible to create, change, and delete user accounts per request (including Active Directory and SharePoint)Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, and system and application logsRecommend / establish policies on system use and servicesPerform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planningMaintain data center environmental and monitoring equipmentDevelop and maintain documentation of infrastructureMicrosoft Exchange O365 & on?prem / Intune / VMWare AirWatch / Veritas Vault / Proofpoint Messaging systems maintenance, administration and supportEscalate problems to management, if necessaryCollaborate with Global ITEnsure that systems are managed per established SLA (Service Level Agreement)Support xqbhyrx global deployment will require off?hours support across multiple time zonesExperience managing/deploying Microsoft Exchange, Windows servers, Active DirectoryExperience architecting messaging environments (design, implementation and administration)Disaster Recovery experience with Exchange ** or laterProfile5+ years of administrating experience and support of other network?related products such as AD, networking and related technical infrastructure3+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Servers ** and later, Microsoft Exchange ** and later3+ years of administrating experience and support VMware and VEEAMExperience with storage systemsFluent in English (spoken and written) and able to work in an international / multi?cultural environmentKnowledge of Change Management and Incident Management proceduresMCSE certificate highly desirableExcellent communication skillsExcellent problem?solving skills requiredMust be a strong team playerOur people make all the difference in our success.#J-***-Ljbffr
