Virtualization & Automation Technician At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people.From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry.Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your interlocking expertise in a cutting?edge field.You will work alongside young and proactive teammates.You’ll perform the integration of Boolean Logic to be applied to stations and blocks to be developed in a virtual environment.Day?to?day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, software development), manage system requirements implementation and validation for ALSTOM IXL projects (electronic interlocking), and much more.You’ll specifically take care of, but also assure correct feedback on future projects, using the return of experience from V & V processes.Key Responsibilities Understand system requirements, as set by customer, and carry out gap analysis towards ALSTOM standard platform.Work in the engineering phase of integration of Boolean Logic development for electronic interlocking (tests of Boolean Logic for control/command of interlocking).Coordinate with other engineering team members and other disciplines of the project.Perform engineering activities required for system/subsystems, to match customer’s requirements, considering Quality/Cost/Delivery (QCD) objectives of the project.Perform the design of Virtual Environment Boolean Logic of IXL, during the development phase and even the commissioning phase.Ensure the quality of the work to contribute to the quality of the system being delivered, considering QCD of the part of the project assigned to you as Work Package Owner.Qualifications University degree (High level) in industrial or telecom engineering or Professional Training in telecom or software development (others can be accepted).Experience with virtualized environments (Vcenter, Proxmox, etc).Experience in Networking (WLAN, etc).Programming, automation and AI skills.High level English is a must.Sometimes travel will be required, especially during the preliminary design and commissioning phase of the project.Experience with Electronic Interlockings is a plus.Things you’ll enjoy Enjoy stability, challenges and a long?term career free from boring daily routines.Work with new security standards for rail signalling.Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues.Contribute to innovative projects.Utilise our cooperative working environment.Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries.Benefit from our investment in your development, through award?winning learning.Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage.Enjoy the pride of stepping onto one of our trains with friends or family.Important to note As a general business, we’re an equal?opportunity employer that celebrates diversity across the 70 countries we operate in.We’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace for everyone.#J-*****-Ljbffr
Requirements
