Software Developer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a .NET Developer to join an established and growing technology business based on the outskirts of Colchester. You’ll be working alongside experienced full stack developers, helping to build intuitive, responsive web applications while contributing ideas that shape the future direction of the company’s products and services. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys frontend development and wants to continue learning new technologies in a commercial environment., * Develop and maintain modern web applications using the Microsoft technology stack.

• Design and build responsive, user-friendly interfaces with a focus on performance and usability.
• Produce clean, maintainable and high-quality code.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver innovative software solutions.
• Contribute ideas and best practices to support the evolution of products and platforms.
• Participate in greenfield development projects from concept through to delivery.

• Commercial experience developing applications using C# and .NET.
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience with, or a genuine interest in learning, Blazor.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of software design principles, including scalability, performance, maintainability, reliability, usability and security.

Desirable Skills

• Experience using DevExpress or similar UI component libraries.
• Exposure to .NET MAUI or cross-platform mobile development.
• Native iOS or Android development experience.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
