A company that develops AI voice agents for the healthcare sector, automating calls and administrative tasks, and with which we collaborate at Joppy, is looking to hire aSoftware Engineerfor its Barcelona headquarters in a hybrid work model.We’re looking for a proactiveSoftware Engineerready to tackle real-time AI challenges in healthcare and drive impactful platform engineering.Design and scale platform architecture, enabling low-latency speech/LLM pipelines and reliable orchestration layersDevelop and deploy production-grade software, ensuring high performance under real-time constraintsBuild and maintain end-to-end features from initial architecture to deploymentManage distributed systems with asynchronous workload orchestrationOptimize systems to handle high volumes, supporting thousands of daily AI-driven healthcare phone callsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced AI/ML solutions1-3 years’ experience building and deploying end-to-end productsSolid understanding of Fast API (Python) backends and React (Type Script) frontends, or equivalent technology stacksExperience managing large-scale distributed systems with asynchronous orchestrationReady to solve challenges involved in deploying large-scale AI voice agentsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)Strong ownership mentality, entrepreneurial drive, and commitment to hard work Nice to haveFamiliarity with LLMs, AI agents, or machine learning modelsExperience with Pipecat voice agents or similar platformsInterest in leveraging experience as a potential step toward founding a startupAbout Joppy
