Junior Web Designer

Tech Pipeline works with organizations to resolve the friction that slows down their daily operations.We focus on fixing the broken middle of business processes where data gets lost or approval chains stall.We are currently supporting a Spanish logistics firm to improve the tools their teams use to manage shipments and routing.This is a full time, permanent Junior Web Designer position designed for someone who prefers clear, functional design over abstract aesthetic concepts.About the role In this role, you will focus on the internal interfaces used by operators and dispatchers at a Spanish logistics firm.These teams often deal with messy tables, confusing data entry forms, and navigation that does not match their actual workflow.Your task is to look at these existing layouts and clean them up so they are easier to use.You will not be focused on marketing pages or flashy animations.Instead, you will be making sure a warehouse manager can read a manifest on a small tablet or that a dispatcher can update a routing rule without making a data entry error.This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from your own environment while staying closely connected to the technical needs of the logistics team.What you will be doing Reviewing existing internal web portals to identify where layout shifts or poor spacing cause operator errors.Creating wireframes and prototypes for new data entry forms that follow logic and reduce friction.Updating CSS and HTML templates to ensure web tools are responsive and clear on mobile devices and warehouse tablets.Standardizing icons and typography across different internal tools to create a consistent source of truth for users.Collaborating with our technical team to ensure your designs align with the underlying data structures and routing rules.Testing new layouts with actual users to see where they get stuck or where the navigation is unclear.Documenting design changes so the client team can maintain the systems after our engagement ends.Ensuring all web elements meet basic accessibility standards so all logistics staff can perform their tasks effectively.What we need from you Basic proficiency in Figma or similar design tools to create clear, high fidelity prototypes.Fundamental knowledge of HTML and CSS to understand how your designs will be built.A logical approach to layouts that prioritizes clarity and utility over decorative elements.The ability to explain your design choices based on user needs and technical constraints.Strong attention to detail, especially when working with complex data tables and multi step forms.Clear written communication skills for creating documentation and status updates.A willingness to learn about logistics processes and how data moves from a warehouse to a delivery truck.A reliable remote setup and the ability to manage your own tasks independently.Helpful background Exposure to logistics, supply chain, or operations through previous projects or studies.Basic understanding of how web applications interact with databases or APIs.Experience designing for mobile or handheld devices in a professional or academic setting.Familiarity with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind.What the role offers A fully remote work environment that respects your time and focuses on output.The opportunity to gain experience working on complex, real world operational problems.Active mentorship from senior designers and technical leads who value practical solutions.Attractive and competitive pay that reflects the responsibilities of the role and the market.A work culture that avoids unnecessary meetings and prioritizes deep, focused work.The chance to see your designs improve the daily lives of people working in the logistics sector.Working at Tech Pipeline Working at Tech Pipeline means focusing on what actually happens when a user opens a system.We do not spend our time on high level strategy decks.We spend it reading logs, tracing problems, and fixing the friction that holds teams back.Our communication is mostly written, relying on weekly updates and clear documentation rather than frequent video calls.Because we work remotely, we rely on everyone to be proactive and grounded in the technical reality of the project.We stay with a client through the first month of live operations to ensure our fixes stick, and then we hand over a system they can run themselves.You will be part of a team that values ground truth and direct action over corporate fluff.
