Job description
Linux Device Drivers DeveloperThe Linux Device Drivers Developer will develop firmware software for the different architectures designed and manufactured by Clue.Responsibilities- Work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate firmware into embedded systems.- Configure hardware for boot?up.- Develop boot?loaders for different platforms.- Develop system runtime environment (kernel, user?space libraries, etc.).- Develop drivers for Clue’s hardware and third?party devices on RTOS.- Work in a high?profile quality assurance environment.- Set up testing environments and develop tests.- Work with DO?178 C methodologies, with high standard?oriented objectives.- Document designs, manuals and provide requirement?proved code.Qualifications- Electronic, software, or telecommunication engineering degree.- Experience developing Linux kernel device drivers.- Strong knowledge of Embedded Linux architecture and internals.- Solid C programming skills.- Experience working with Yocto, Buildroot, or similar embedded Linux distributions.- Understanding of hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2 C, UART, CAN, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, etc.- Familiarity with kernel debugging and profiling tools.- Experience with Git and Linux development workflows.Desired Additional Experience- Involvement in open?source projects.- Experience with U?Boot.- Knowledge of embedded operating systems, with focus on Linux; bonus for experience with Vx Works and Pike OS; familiarity with other systems is advantageous.- Knowledge of systems based on embedded RTOS.- Experience with aviation projects and DO?178 C.- Knowledge about Electronic Hardware Design.- Possession of a disability certificate equal to or greater than 33% is valued but not mandatory, in compliance with the General Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and their Social Inclusion.Skills we value- Proactive attitude and autonomy.- Good analytical and problem?solving skills.- Research state?of?the?art solutions and apply critical thinking.- Organizational skills.- Ability and eagerness to learn.- Team?oriented and humble, open?minded to feedback.- Pride in work; focus on quality and detail.- Balance optimization with on?time delivery.- Accountability for assigned tasks.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Benefits- Hybrid work and flexibility to work from home.- Full?time, permanent contract.- Private medical insurance.- 25 + 2 flexible vacation days.- Schedule flexibility.- Free Friday afternoons.- Permanent internal and external training.- Free coffee and snacks.- Healthy lunch served daily for the staff at the office.- Work with cutting?edge technologies.Process Steps- Talent Interview.- Technical Screening Test.- Technical Interview.- Management Interview.Clue is committed to the diversity of its teams and an inclusive work environment.We encourage applications from people with different backgrounds, interests, and personal circumstances.Our team welcomes applicants regardless of their race, gender, age, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, and/or disabilities.We are waiting for you to apply!
