Job description

Getnet Platforms is part of Santander Payment Solutions and brings together a set of key platforms within Santander’s global payments technology ecosystem. It includes software-as-a-service capabilities across the entire payments value chain, such as account-to-account processing, FX, SWIFT connectivity, fraud management and card processing infrastructure. It enables financial institutions, non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs) and payment service providers (PSPs) to operate, scale and evolve their payment capabilities across multiple rails, markets and regulatory environments, without the need to rebuild their core systems. Proven at scale, including within Santander itself, these platforms provide a modular foundation that complements Getnet’s global payment capabilities to support client growth through payments., As a Senior UI/UX Designer & Product Designer, these will be some of the key activities in your day-to-day role:

  • Lead the UI and visual design of the Customer Portal frontend, ensuring a consistent, scalable and high-quality experience across modules and functionalities.
  • Translate complex payment information, operational data and user flows into clear, intuitive interfaces that minimize confusion and support efficient decision-making.
  • Improve the end-to-end user experience by identifying usability gaps, simplifying flows and proposing design solutions aligned with business and user needs.
  • Apply a Product Design mindset to ensure new functionalities are coherent with the current application, business priorities and future product evolution.
  • Maintain and evolve the design system in Figma, creating reusable components, interaction patterns and visual guidelines that support consistency and efficiency.
  • Partner with Product Owners and frontend engineering teams to validate implementation quality and ensure delivered solutions reflect approved designs.
  • Contribute to Agile/Scrum delivery by clarifying requirements, supporting design decisions and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design for digital products or applications. (Required)
  • Strong experience designing interfaces for complex data, dashboards, operational tools or data-heavy applications. (Required)
  • Proven experience translating business needs and user flows into clear, usable and visually consistent designs. (Required)
  • Experience working with Product Owners, frontend engineering teams and Agile/Scrum ways of working. (Required)
  • 3+ years of experience applying Product Design practices or working as a Product Designer. (Preferred), * HND or higher education in Design, UX/UI, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Product or a related field. (Required)
  • Specialized training or professional certifications relevant to UI/UX or Product Design. (Preferred)

Languages

  • Fluent English and Spanish. (Required), * Advanced Figma skills, including high-fidelity UI design, prototyping and component management. (Required)
  • Strong visual design expertise, supported by a portfolio of digital products or applications. (Required)
  • Solid UI/UX knowledge, with the ability to turn business needs into clear and usable designs. (Required)
  • Experience designing data visualization, dashboards or data-heavy interfaces with a focus on clarity, readability and operational accuracy. (Required)
  • Design systems, reusable components, interaction patterns and visual guidelines. (Required)
  • Ability to collaborate with frontend teams and review design implementation quality. (Required)

  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS. (Preferred)
  • Product Design methodologies, user flow definition and product coherence across complex applications. (Preferred), * Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail. (Required)
