Job description

As a Technical Services Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our service delivery engine-ensuring every deployment meets the highest standards of performance, reliability, and client satisfaction.

  • Lead Deployment Execution: Support the rollout of new products and services by coordinating across provisioning, field operations, logistics, and client teams.
  • Validate & Certify Equipment: Inspect, test, and benchmark hardware to ensure readiness for activation-meeting both manufacturer specs and iNet’s quality standards.
  • Enhance Field Readiness: Help develop and refine testing and certification protocols for our field operations team, ensuring consistent excellence across installations.
  • Support Field & Remote Operations: Provide technical guidance during site activations, commissioning, and troubleshooting-resolving challenges with precision and speed.
  • Operate Across Environments: Work primarily in our shop/warehouse with occasional field deployments, using advanced tools and diagnostics to verify system integrity.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; 2-year technical degree in electronics, engineering technology, networking, or systems engineering preferred
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in field technician or technical support roles
  • Prior technical experience in networking, telecommunications, and wireless solutions
  • Certifications or training in Cisco, Network+, or similar technologies
  • Advanced knowledge of network components (switches, routers, firewalls) and RF technologies (VSAT, LTE, wireless radios, Wi-Fi)
  • Proficient understanding of data and signal flow through networks, including the OSI Model
  • Skilled in using telnet, RDP, traceroute, ping, and other troubleshooting tools
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning
  • Ability to pass background check and a prestart drug & alcohol screen.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and carry/push/pull moderate loads as needed
