Job description
We are seeking a motivated IT Help Desk Technician to provide first-level technical support for employees across the organization. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment while supporting the systems that help deliver quality patient care., As an IT Help Desk Technician, you will serve as the primary point of contact for employees experiencing hardware, software, Microsoft 365, networking, and technology-related issues. You will troubleshoot technical problems, install and maintain equipment, manage user accounts, document support requests, and ensure timely resolution of IT incidents.
This position is ideal for candidates with experience in Help Desk Support, Desktop Support, Technical Support, Information Technology, Microsoft 365 Administration, Active Directory, Windows Support, Network Troubleshooting, and Healthcare IT.

Important: All new hires must be able to attend a mandatory five-day orientation Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM before beginning their regular work schedule., * Serve as the first point of contact for technical support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, mobile device, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain computer hardware and peripheral equipment
- Support Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications
- Create, modify, and manage Active Directory user accounts, passwords, and permissions
- Configure user workstations and deploy new equipment
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when appropriate
Systems & Documentation
- Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions within the IT ticketing system
- Maintain accurate asset and inventory records
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and organizational IT policies
- Assist with software deployments, updates, and system maintenance, * Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting clinical and administrative staff
- Communicate technical information clearly to users with varying levels of technical knowledge
- Prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred
- Equivalent work experience will be considered, * Experience in IT Help Desk, Desktop Support, Technical Support, or Information Technology required
- Experience using IT ticketing systems such as Freshservice, ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Zendesk, or similar platforms preferred
- Experience supporting healthcare organizations or other regulated environments preferred
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Office applications
- Working knowledge of Active Directory user and group management
- Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and wireless networking
- Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Work Environment
- Primarily office and healthcare environment
- Frequent walking, standing, lifting, bending, and transporting computer equipment
- Ability to respond quickly to technical issues throughout the facility
- Occasional evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required based on operational needs
- Must comply with organizational policies regarding safety, infection prevention, confidentiality, and cybersecurity
