Job description
The SAP HCM Consultant will act as a SAP Payroll Expert for the HR Service Delivery Payroll Team for Belgian accounts. The role is responsible for the accurate and timely execution of payroll and time processes for multiple pay groups., * Design and deliver high quality solutions through system configuration that meets overall business requirements.
- Perform configuration for HCM modules of HR: Payroll (evaluation & schemas).
- Act as SPOC for one or several accounts, coordinating and providing technical and expert support to other consultants.
- Act as the HR Services lead for SAP Payroll Management development, defect identification and resolution.
- Analyze payroll/time schemas to identify root cause and resolve pay & time discrepancies.
- Resolve complex defects related to Overtime, social security calculation, legal reporting, allowances, sickness, taxes, posting, payslips and other Belgian payroll configurations.
- Participate in SAP HR projects as part of a cross-functional team to support HR Services delivery.
- Ensure time and attendance data integrity.
- Apply extensive SAP HCM & Payroll configuration skills.
- Handle German Payroll tasks: schemas, sickness process, PCRs, wage type creation, basic pay configuration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve HCM & Payroll problems/failures for external and internal customers and update ticket logging systems promptly.
Requirements
- SAP HCM and Payroll Management experience.
- Experience with German Payroll: schemas, sickness process, PCRs, wage type creation, basic pay configuration.
- Experience with HR: PA/OM modules.
- ABAP knowledge is highly valuable.
- Ability to handle confidential materials effectively.
- Detailed knowledge of SAP and advanced use of MS Office (Excel, Access, Word) and reporting tools.
- Strong strategic, analytical, planning, and time-management skills.
- Excellent decision-making and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) across all levels of management.
- Self-motivation and ability to work under pressure with little supervision.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Current position performance satisfactory., * Applicants must have a valid EU work permit.
- Fluent level of English; German speaker is a plus.
