Scope You will work across the entire product surface as a full-stack generalist. The main areas include: - AI as the strategist of your health - Build the AI layer that reads member biology, wearables, medical history, and lifestyle context to surface what matters, generate personalised insights and action plans, and help members navigate their own health day-by-day. - The full health picture - Build pipelines, integrations with lab partners and wearable APIs, document understanding, and the data model that everything else relies on. - A product members want to open every day - Ship the React Native app and shape what advanced prevention feels like in someone’s pocket. - Plugged into the Alan ecosystem - Build connective tissue: handoffs to teleconsultation, specialist referrals, shared member context across products, etc. - International expansion - Build systems that let us launch in new markets quickly, from lab partner integrations to languages and localized pricing. 3+ years of engineering experience, with strong product-eng instincts. - A generalist comfortable on mobile (React Native), web, backend (Python/Flask), and willing to learn whatever the product needs next. - Shipped AI-powered features in production: LLMs, agents, retrieval-augmented systems, evals, or other tools that work with real users. - Shipped real products end-to-end, from idea to code to production to iteration. - Fluent in English (French is not required).
