Technical Lead Java / Spring Boot + AWS

Lead and mentor technical teams in the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

• Design and implement scalable microservices architectures using Java and Spring Boot.
• Define software development standards, best practices, and REST API governance models.
• Participate in architectural decision-making and technology strategy.
• Establish and promote testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Perform code reviews and ensure software quality across development teams.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead specializing in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS to join our team and drive the design, development, and evolution of modern cloud-native solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Java microservices development, technical leadership experience, and a deep understanding of software architecture, API governance, testing strategies, and AWS cloud services.

Location: 100% Remote (Spain-based candidates only) Language: English B2-C1 required, Java

• Spring Boot
• JPA / Hibernate
• AWS
• JUnit / Mockito
• Git
• English (B2-C1), 5+ years of continuous, hands-on experience developing Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
• At least 2 years of experience leading technical teams.
• Proven experience in solution architecture design and technical leadership.
• Strong expertise in defining development standards and REST API governance.
• Advanced knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Strong experience with JPA / Hibernate.
• Experience defining testing strategies, including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and End-to-End Testing.
• Proven experience conducting code reviews and driving engineering best practices.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
