Welcome to the future of nuclear energy, where Westinghouse Electric Company is leading the field with expertise and innovation to shape the power of tomorrow.At Westinghouse, innovation is in our DNA.We are creative.We think differently.We reimagine the possible across the nuclear industry every day.About the RoleAs a Fluid Systems Engineer I you will report to the ANAV Supervisor Engineer and be located at the Vila-seca, Tarragona offices.This is a full-time hybrid position with a mix of 70% on-site and 30% remote days that may be set at your discretion.ResponsibilitiesPerform thermal-hydraulic and piping networks engineering designDevelop pump, valve, tank, heat exchanger, HVAC, or other equipment sizing requirements for plant design or modificationsIdentify technical issues and propose practical solutions for assigned projects and tasksSupport engineering staff in multiple design and analysis activitiesCoordinate with other disciplines, including I&C, electrical, civil/structural, licensing, and layout, across diverse projects and design changesCommunicate progress, technical challenges, and results to the technical lead and project managementCollaborate with construction, I&C, electrical, and operations teams, representing the discipline both internally and externallyParticipate in customer, vendor, and regulatory meetings, presenting technical material and explaining design decisionsComplete work within defined scope, budget, and schedule constraintsQualificationsDegree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear)Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering is valued1+ years of experience in a similar roleProficiency with MathCad, MATLAB, VBA, FATHOM or ARROWFamiliarity with ASME, ANSI, ASHRAE, NFP or API standardsFluent in Spanish and EnglishAbility to travel to Westinghouse or customer sites, including international travelBenefitsAttractive remunerationHybrid model of workHigh flexibility and autonomyPeer?to?peer recognition programLunch allowancePrivate health insuranceEmployee Assistance Program: confidential counseling and resources for employees, eligible dependents, and household membersLearning and development opportunitiesCommunity service events and other team-building activitiesYou can learn more about Westinghouse by visiting is an Equal Opportunity Employer including Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities.#J-*****-Ljbffr
