Job description
We are a dynamic and innovative team at the forefront of leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive data-driven insights within our organization. As a Data Engineer, you will be a key member of the Data Team, responsible for integrating various data sources and consolidating them into one platform. The role involves leveraging tools and technologies such as Azure, Snowflake, DBT, SQL, Power BI, and Knime for both operational and analytics usage. You will work closely with other team members to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and timely to support the organization’s data-driven decision-making process., * Design, construct, install, test and maintain highly scalable data management systems.
- Collaborate with data architects, modelers and IT team members on project goals.
- Develop processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.
- Optimize data pipelines and data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
- Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed design.
- Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices.
- Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, software engineering, information systems, or a related quantitative field; master’s degree preferred.
- At least five years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, software engineering, or a similar role.
- Expertise in data modeling, ETL development, and data analysis.
- Experience with DBT, Azure, Snowflake, Power BI, and Knime.
- Ability to design, build, and deploy data solutions that capture, explore, transform, and utilize data to support AI, ML, and BI.
- Experience in programming languages such as SQL and Python.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing modern data architectures and concepts such as cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data warehouse tools (Snowflake, Databricks).
- Expert problem-solving skills, including debugging skills, allowing the determination of sources of issues in unfamiliar code or systems, and the ability to recognize and solve repetitive problems., * Understanding of online acquisition activities and their impact on eCommerce sites.
- Knowledge of Content Management Systems, workflows and optimizations.
- Strong knowledge in SEO optimization.
