Requirements / Profile a) Experience & Background: As a Senior DevOps Expert, you are expected to be a strong team player, work independently, take initiatives as well as be a technical leader and subject matter expert on the below, evolve and develop expertise rapidly in a wide range of technologies: - Exceptional public cloud providers experience and knowledge - Thorough containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) & service mesh expertise - Advanced with code management (git) and build tools (Gitlab) - Understand a global architecture from infrastructure through middleware to applications and their relationships; understanding of microservices architecture is a plus - Advanced in scripting languages (Python, Bash) - Experienced with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Foreman) - Experienced with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) - Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies is a plus b) Qualifications: - Advanced university degree (master’s degree) in technology / computer science required - 10+ years of recent/immediate experience with Linux/sysops and public cloud providers, and knowledge of networking and security protocols - Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) is a plus c) Personal skills: - Fully autonomous - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Able to solves complex problems requiring in-depth analysis - Conceive new approaches and create innovative solutions, break new grounds - Process re-engineering skills.
