Job description

We are looking to recruit a software engineer on the platform team. The Technology team are modernising the infrastructure and stack that powers our e-commerce platform to improve the ways we build and deliver software in support of our mission to make cycling the most popular sport in the world. They are migrating from dedicated virtualised infrastructure to scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.

Requirements

  • Hands-on AWS experience in a commercial, production environment (EC2, ECS, S3, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, IAM), or comparable tools from Google or Microsoft
  • CI/CD pipeline implementation and operation using modern tools (e.g. CircleCI, GitLab, Travis, CodeCommit/Deploy)
  • Experience developing and managing Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef)
  • Development experience in a modern programming language (e.g. Python, Javascript, Ruby)
  • Experience monitoring the performance and reliability of production software applications using dedicated monitoring software
  • Comfortable working with linux/unix systems on the command line
  • Strong experience using Git
