Middle Automation QA Engineer

You’ll be part of a dynamic, international team working on large-scale enterprise platforms for a leading U.S.-based client in the consulting and financial services sector. • Develop comprehensive manual test plans and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Execute test cases manually and via automation; analyze results and report defects.
• Track and manage defects through the lifecycle, coordinating with development teams.
• Prepare detailed test reports summarizing results.
• Contribute to reusable, scalable automation strategies and continuous QA process improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• 2.5+ years of QA experience, including manual and automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end test automation using Playwright (TypeScript).
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and frameworks.
• Proficiency with task tracking and test management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar).
• Knowledge of software architecture, including client-server, web applications, and APIs.
• Familiarity with browsers’ capabilities and limitations.
• Ability to analyze requirements, identify potential issues, and design effective test cases.
• Knowledge of test activities estimation techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a strong focus on quality.

• Intermediate English (spoken and written). Nice-to-haves

• Experience with API test automation
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Experience with Tricentis Tosca or other no-code automation tools
• Familiarity with automation in large-scale or enterprise environments
• ISTQB certification
• Previous experience in Agile/Scrum teams, + A QA engineer with proven automation experience, capable of leading E2E testing initiatives
• An adaptable professional eager to embrace code-based automation tools and align with company-wide best practices
• A strong communicator who values clarity, reuse, and maintainability in test design
