Job description

Qualitest seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures that support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
  • Develop and maintain robust data models for analytics and operational systems
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance across platforms
  • Implement and manage cloud-based data solutions and warehousing technologies
  • Monitor and improve performance of large-scale distributed data processing systems
  • Support data governance initiatives and best practices

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL databases?, * Strong experience in SQL and data modeling

  • Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala for data engineering tasks
  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Apache Airflow, Informatica, Talend, or dbt
  • Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
  • Knowledge of distributed data processing frameworks such as Spark and Hadoop
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with large-scale data environments
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with real-time streaming technologies such as Kafka or Flink
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in cloud or data technologies are a plus
