The Role:

As a Design Engineer, you will work on multiple engineering design projects from initial concept through to production, contributing to products being delivered on time, within budget and to the required technical standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Working on mechanical design and product development projects from concept through to manufacture.
• Producing detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings using Creo.
• Helping to design new products and develop improvements to existing product ranges.
• Building and evaluating prototypes to validate product performance.
• Using in-house testing facilities to support product development.
• Collaborating with manufacturing, production, purchasing and quality teams.

• Graduate Design Engineer
• Mechanical Design Engineer
• Design Engineer
• Product Design Engineer
• Development Engineer
• CAD Design Engineer

• Experience within a mechanical design or product development engineering environment.
• A good understanding of mechanical engineering and engineering design principles.
• Experience producing 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings.
• Experience using Creo would be advantageous; however, candidates with SolidWorks, Inventor or similar 3D CAD software are encouraged to apply.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders.
• A formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
