Backend Engineer (AI integration)

Own and develop the AI integration layer within the software delivery toolchain. Collaborate with product engineers and platform teams to identify and implement AI-driven opportunities. Design, prototype, and validate LLM-based and RAG pipelines. Build and maintain APIs, pipelines, and integrations for AI capabilities across platforms. Support automation initiatives to improve developer productivity and efficiency. Ensure traceability, logging, monitoring, and compliance across all AI integrations. Maintain high standards for security, scalability, and maintainability of solutions. A mid-level Backend Engineer (3-5 years experience) with strong expertise in AI integration, DevOps, or MLOps. Solid understanding of cloud platforms, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), APIs, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience bringing Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI solutions (LLMs, RAG) into production environments. A security-focused mindset, familiar with enterprise compliance and data protection standards. A collaborative professional comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams. Strong communication skills and very good English proficiency. A degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)., Hands-on ability to integrate AI components into real production systems. Strong technical skills in: Backend development DevOps/MLOps practices APIs and system integrations Cloud-native architectures Familiarity with enterprise platforms and tooling ecosystems. A proactive mindset to drive innovation and automation using AI. Commitment to quality, reproducibility, and operational excellence. Ability to balance technical depth with business impact.

Hybrid position in Madrid (3 days at client´s office, Sol area, next to the underground).

Work Schedule Business hours.
