Business Intelligence Data Engineer

• Planning, management, and implementation of BI activities involving and coordinating relevant departments
• Implementation of technical BI requirements from analysis to support, including design, testing, documentation, and administration
• Further development of existing analytical information systems
• Identifying and pursuing opportunities for optimization
• Teamwork within a motivated team and collaboration with numerous departments and projects

• Bachelor’s degree in (Business) Computer Science or a comparable field of study
• Alternatively, a completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist with several years of professional experience in the BI field
• Business-level German proficiency (at least C1 level)
• Several years of experience with relational databases, SQL, and the implementation and design of BI solutions
• Strong knowledge of ETL development, eg, with IBM DataStage
• Analytical skills, a structured and results-oriented approach to work, and the ability to quickly adapt to new tasks
