This is an opportunity to influence product direction, champion UX best practice and help evolve a scalable design system used across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity interfaces in Figma.
  • Owning the UX across multiple product modules and delivering user-centred design solutions.
  • Maintaining and evolving a scalable design system and component library.
  • Collaborating with front-end engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
  • Managing the relationship with an external design agency responsible for design system delivery.
  • Championing accessibility, usability and responsive design across the platform.
  • Driving consistency and continuous improvement throughout the product experience.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who combines strong visual design skills with a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Commercial experience as a UX/UI Designer or Product Designer.
  • Advanced Figma skills, including prototyping and component libraries.
  • Experience building and maintaining design systems.
  • A solid understanding of responsive design and WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and modern front-end technologies.
  • Experience working within Agile, cross-functional product teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Benefits & conditions

  • Salary range of £55,000 - £65,000
  • Hybrid working (3 days per week in Glasgow)
  • Private healthcare
  • Pension contribution
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
