Job description

A client-facing digital project management role for someone who can bring structure, energy and commercial focus to creative digital delivery.

We’re looking for an organised, proactive and digitally minded Project Manager to help deliver creative digital projects from brief through to final completion. This is a hands-on and varied role where you’ll work closely with account teams, designers, developers, digital specialists and wider creative teams to keep projects moving, clients informed and work delivered on time, on budget and on brief.

You’ll sit within the wider Project Management team and align with agency ways of working, while also understanding the specific requirements of digital delivery. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, resource, estimates, billing and documentation, and act as a calm, confident point of contact across internal teams and clients., You’ll work closely with a core client team, supporting the implementation and delivery of digital work across a portfolio of clients and sectors. This could include digital campaigns, website or platform updates, digital content, digital signage, CRM or email activity, paid and social digital assets, and projects that connect into creative, strategy, development, film and animation, performance and insight teams.

You’ll strive to deliver high-quality work by understanding and questioning the process, managing risks and making sure each project has clear owners, actions, timings, budgets and next steps.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage digital projects from initial brief through to final delivery, ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget and on brief.

  • Act as the central point of coordination across account, creative, digital, development, production and wider agency teams.

  • Create and manage project plans, timelines, trackers, actions and documentation to keep teams aligned and clients informed.

  • Create estimates and work with Account Directors to approve and issue costs to clients.

  • Manage billing requirements, including purchase order requests, closing jobs and supporting invoicing processes.

  • Book and manage resource through relevant internal systems, including Workfront and other team planning tools where needed.

  • Use platforms such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Power BI, Workfront, ScreenDragon, Asana and Microsoft Planner where relevant to manage workflow, documentation, reporting and team communication.

  • Run or support key project meetings, including stand-ups, WIPs, delivery meetings and client-facing updates where needed.

  • Prepare agendas, take notes and make sure actions are captured, shared and followed up.

  • Manage risks, dependencies, scope changes and project pressures around cost, time and quality.

  • Support strong client relationships through clear, timely and respectful communication.

  • Work with Account Directors to understand account strategy, client objectives and project priorities.

  • Support reporting on project progress, retained work, spend against budget, hours used and remaining budget.

  • Help identify opportunities in existing briefs by understanding companies wider services and how digital can add value.

  • Champion continuous improvement across digital ways of working, processes, tools and documentation., * An interest in innovation, continuous improvement and finding more efficient ways to deliver work.

  • Projects are well organised, clearly documented and delivered smoothly.

  • Clients feel informed, supported and confident in the process.

  • Internal teams have clear actions, timings, priorities and expectations.

  • Budgets, timings, estimates, billing and documentation are managed accurately.

  • Risks, blockers and scope changes are spotted early and escalated appropriately.

  • Digital projects are delivered to a high standard, with strong communication and collaboration throughout.

Requirements

You’ll be a confident and organised project manager with a passion for creative digital delivery. You may already be

working in a project or account management role, or you may be looking to move into a role that blends project coordination, client service, commercial thinking and digital production.

You’ll be naturally proactive, detail-focused and comfortable managing multiple priorities at pace. You’ll be able to bring people together, ask the right questions, spot gaps and keep projects moving calmly and clearly.

Essential skills and experience

  • Project management and delivery skills, from initial brief to final completion.

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

  • Confidence managing multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders at the same time.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across clients, internal teams and delivery partners.

  • A client-focused mindset, with the ability to develop strong relationships and provide excellent customer service.

  • Commercial awareness, including experience or understanding of estimates, budgets, billing, purchase orders, scope and time management.

  • Ability to manage pressures around cost, time and quality.

  • Confidence working with cross-functional teams, including creative, digital, development and production specialists.

  • A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.

  • Enthusiasm, ambition and a passion for creativity and digital delivery.

Desirable skills and experience

  • Experience in a creative, digital, marketing, integrated or agency environment.

  • Experience managing digital campaigns, digital content, website or platform projects, digital signage, or paid and social digital outputs.

  • Experience using workflow or project management tools such as Workfront, ScreenDragon, Asana, Microsoft Planner, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Excel or Power BI.

  • Confidence working with internal digital, development, creative and production teams.

  • Experience managing client-facing trackers, approvals, milestones and delivery reviews.
