Job description

We’re looking for a Junior Frontend Developer to build and maintain features across web and mobile applications, grow under the guidance of senior engineers, and get hands-on with AI-assisted development tools as part of daily work., The candidate will work closely with senior developers, designers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions while gaining hands-on experience with modern frontend technologies and AI-assisted software development practices., * Build and maintain UI features across web (React/Angular/Vue) and/or mobile (iOS/Android/cross-platform) applications under senior guidance

  • Write clean, tested code following established component and state-management patterns
  • Fix bugs, address QA feedback, and implement small enhancements independently
  • Use AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar) to speed up development, test writing, and debugging
  • Participate in code reviews - both giving and receiving feedback
  • Collaborate with designers, QA, and backend engineers to deliver features end-to-end
  • Document components and contribute to team knowledge base
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and estimation

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of professional frontend development experience (internships count)
  • Foundational knowledge of at least one modern framework (React, Angular, or Vue)
  • Exposure to mobile development concepts (native iOS/Android or cross-platform frameworks) is a plus
  • Comfortable using AI coding assistants (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) for day-to-day development tasks
  • Basic understanding of REST APIs and version control (Git)
  • Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and grow technically, * Coursework, bootcamp, or personal projects involving AI/LLM integration
  • Familiarity with CI/CD basics and automated testing frameworks
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments
  • A portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing personal or academic projects

Benefits & conditions

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $43,984 - $105,600.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
