Job description

We are seeking a versatile Senior Software Engineer to drive the development and end-to-end lifecycle management of our next-generation software products. You are equally comfortable pivoting to contribute to our core Python, FastAPI, and AWS cloud ecosystem to support shifting business objectives and ensure continuous product delivery., * Multi-Stack Software Engineering: Architect and maintain high-performance, concurrent applications in Rust, alongside feature development and maintenance within our Python and FastAPI microservices.

  • Complete SDLC Ownership: Establish and maintain the entire software development lifecycle infrastructure around your applications, including unit testing, integration testing, license compliance, and automated vulnerability scanning.
  • Release & Distribution Automation: Design and optimize the build, compilation, containerization, and secure distribution processes for internal and public-facing software tools.
  • Cloud & DevOps Integration: Support and evolve our cloud environments, security architectures, and remote build platforms hosted on AWS.

Requirements

  • Senior Engineering Background: A university degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent extensive industry experience delivering production-grade software systems.
  • Advanced Polyglot Capabilities: Proven experience writing clean, production-ready Rust, complemented by a strong full-stack background in Python frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, or similar).
  • Automated Quality & Compliance: Experience configuring automated security scanners, license verification tools, and robust test pipelines within a continuous integration environment.
  • DevOps & Infrastructure-as-Code: Proficiency with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or Dagger is highly desirable.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Practical experience provisioning and managing infrastructure within the AWS ecosystem, specifically utilizing S3, ECS, and Lambda.
  • Professional Attributes: A highly autonomous professional with an engineering mindset centered on product ownership, system reliability, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in German is considered a distinct advantage

Benefits & conditions

The chance to be part of a highly innovative, agile, and unique team with prestigious customers in the automotive and battery storage sector. You will gain a deeper knowledge around connected & electric vehicle batteries, battery management and electronics development and strive in an exciting work environment
