Job description

Manager, Content Development (JavaScript): Leading and mentoring a team of content developers to build and maintain reliable web crawlers and scrapers with an accent on technical guidance, pipeline infrastructure, and data quality assurance. Focus on implementing resilient scraping strategies, ensuring accurate data transformation, and driving technical documentation standards., * Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Content Developers, supporting growth in technical skills and career progression.

Provide technical guidance on crawler design, scraping strategies, data parsing, and error-handling.
Oversee infrastructure and operational readiness, ensuring performant, observable, and maintainable pipelines.
Ensure extracted data from various formats (HTML, JSON, XML) is accurately transformed and validated.
Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies using DevOps, Linear, or equivalent tools.
Own standards for technical documentation, including runbooks, setup guides, and architectural notes.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in content acquisition engineering in JavaScript, data ingestion, or web scraping.
1-3 years of people management experience or demonstrated technical leadership.
Deep experience with JavaScript and Node.js.
Experience with parsing structured/semi-structured data (HTML, JSON, XML) and operating within relational or NoSQL data storage systems.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities in English.
