Job description

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer to strengthen our Security Architecture & Engineering team.

In this role, you will play a key part in protecting Verisure’s global network infrastructure, shaping secure architectures, and ensuring our connectivity meets the highest security standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and drive the roadmap and strategy for network security
  • Design secure network architectures across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain network security controls
  • Ensure segmentation of critical assets and secure connectivity
  • Monitor network traffic, identify threats, and support incident response
  • Integrate network security controls into automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and mitigate risks
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend continuous improvements

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of experience in network security engineering
  • Strong knowledge of technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, proxies, VPNs, SD-WAN, DDoS protection, and SASE
  • Solid understanding of LAN/WAN architectures, Zero Trust, and network segmentation
  • Experience with automation and scripting
  • Ability to work independently with strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Advanced English and Spanish (spoken and written)
  • Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field
