SAP Automation Consultant

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant with strong end-to-end implementation experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP EWM configuration, integration, and deployment across full project lifecycles including requirement gathering, design, build, testing, and go-live support . This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, supply chain teams, and cross-functional SAP teams. Key Responsibilities Lead and participate in end-to-end SAP EWM implementations , from blueprint/design to go-live and post-production support . Gather and analyze warehouse management business requirements and translate them into SAP EWM solutions. Configure and customize SAP EWM modules including inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes, and RF functionality. Design and implement warehouse structures such as storage types, storage sections, bins, and activity areas. Configure and support core EWM processes , including: Inbound Delivery Processing Putaway strategies Picking strategies Packing and staging Outbound delivery processing Physical inventory Cross-docking and replenishment Integrate SAP EWM with SAP S/4HANA / ECC and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and TM . Support integration with warehouse automation systems , RF devices, barcode scanning, and third-party logistics systems when applicable. Participate in unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and performance testing . Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for enhancements, reports, interfaces, and conversions. Provide go-live support, hypercare, and ongoing production support . Prepare documentation, training materials, and conduct end-user training . Required Qualifications 8+ years of SAP experience with 5+ years specializing in SAP EWM . Proven experience in at least one full end-to-end SAP EWM implementation . Strong hands-on experience configuring core EWM warehouse processes . Experience with EWM integration with SAP ECC or S/4HANA . Strong understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain processes . Experience with RF framework, mobile data entry, and barcode scanning solutions . Ability to create functional specifications and work with ABAP teams . Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills . Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills . Preferred Qualifications Experience with S/4HANA Embedded EWM . Experience with warehouse automation systems (ASRS, conveyors, robotics) . Experience integrating EWM with TM, Yard Management, or Transportation systems . SAP certification in SAP EWM or Supply Chain Management . Experience working in large-scale distribution or manufacturing environments .
