Backend Engineer

We already protect millions of Android and iOS endpoints with our SDK which, together with our backend analytics platform, provides the most comprehensive mobile app security solution in the market.We are looking for a Backend Engineer for our growing backend team. You will be responsible for helping design, maintain and build the new services for the current platform which is written mostly in Java 17 and using state-of-the-art frameworks such as Spring (boot, security), SQL databases, AWS services and deployed in Kubernetes for scalability and reliability. You’ll also develop high-quality code for our existing and new software products, with high availability and scalability standards.

• Design and implement new components for our high-availability (HA) microservice-oriented architecture, while ensuring the maintenance and improvement of existing systems.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to understand and refine functional requirements.
• Have an important role in defining and improving internal processes.
• Support fellow developers, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration within the team.
• Contribute beyond technical development by actively engaging in the full lifecycle of projects.

• Recommended: Computer Science degree or similar.
• Strong background in Java.
• Spring ecosystem (boot, web, security).
• Knowledge of SQL DBs.
• Knowledge of software best practices, testing, code review, pair programming, refactoring, clean code and DDD.
• Bonus: Experience or knowledge in working with data analytics, data-driven systems or no SQL Databases.
• Team-player: you are open to ego-free discussions.
• Devops mindset (working and improving ci / cd processes with git, jenkins, kubernetes, aws)
