Job description
- Experience, but not proficiency, in: Python, RDBMS/SQL and general scripting technologies.
- Manage daily production support issues across Risk and Investments systems.
- Monitoring applications and system health via alert monitoring tools and provide quick response to alerts escalations and all outages.
- Investigate and Resolve Technical errors.

Perform Root causes analysis for production issues and incidents to address and prevent them for repeating.

Document processes and procedures related to production support tasks.
- Works with IT partners to automate and simplify software delivery processes.
- Maybe involved in maintenance of business systems and interface applications
- Ability to understand highly complex systems and data flows.
- Understanding of markets, asset management/asset classes, and related accounting flows
- Analysis and communication skills, able to resolve technology and business problems.
- Work well with cross-functional groups.
- Building and maintaining firm’s strategic business system that processes Investment Trading activity, pre and post trade functions, Reference data & Risk reporting.
- Primarily be responsible for leading solving business needs in Risk & investments area using Mendix, Python & SQL as primary sources of technology.
- Role follows modern SDLC principles, test driven development, source code reviews, and change control standards to maintain compliance with policies.
- To develop and troubleshoot a diverse range of problems and influence stakeholders to get consensus on key decisions to ensure project deliveries are made under tight deadlines.
- Serve as a subject knowledge expert of the system specific modules from both a technical and functional perspective.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Python
- 5+ years of experience in RDBMS/SQL
Benefits & conditions
NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $107,904.00 to $161,856.00. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
