Job description

Join our fast-paced, passionate, dynamic Agile development program, FADE, as a key Platform DevOps resource. You will work closely with a talented team to streamline our software delivery pipeline and ensure high availability across multiple production environments. You will use your technical skills to improve site performance and overall reliability by maintaining complex software systems, monitoring systems, and detecting and fixing problems before users detect issues.

  • Automate any and all mundane tasks so you can focus on solving operational issues
  • Use your passion for problem solving to discover root causes of issues
  • Work well in a team environment to solve complex problems
  • Work alongside the development team to ensure speedy and reliable software deployments, monitor systems, and improve overall reliability of the platform
  • Discover and document system bugs, then take initiative to go off and fix them yourself
  • Participate in the complete agile software life cycle including planning, scrums, sprints, and frequent software releases
  • Thrive in a fast moving environment and enjoy learning new technologies and overcoming new challenges

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • 5+ years in DevOps, Infrastructure, or DevSecOps in a cloud environment
  • Strong grasp of Linux and Git
  • Strong familiarity working with Kubernetes-deployed applications
  • Strong scripting skills (ex: Bash, Python)
  • Strong grasp of GitOps workflows (ex: ArgoCD, FluxCD) and CI/CD tools (ex: GitLab CI/CD)
  • Cloud computing environments (ex: Amazon Web Services)
  • Working with and building containers
  • Understanding of software build processes/pipelines
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

Desired:

  • Security+ certification
  • Use of AI coding tools (ex: Claude Code)
  • Familiarity with SQL
  • Monitoring complex systems (ElasticSearch, Grafana, Prometheus)
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • Experience working with Spring Boot applications, Redis/Valkey, Kafka
  • Familiarity with client/server systems using Web REST interfaces

The proposed salary range for this position is: $90,300 - 189,600 USD
