Senior Technical Consultant - Dynamics 365 F&SCM

We’re partnering with one of the fastest-growing Microsoft-focused consulting and managed services organizations in the market to hire a Senior Technical Consultant focused on Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.

This is a highly technical, client-facing role for someone who loves solving complex ERP challenges, building scalable customizations, and owning technical delivery inside enterprise Dynamics environments. The team is looking for someone who can operate as both an architect and hands-on engineer - someone comfortable leading technical conversations while still getting deep into X++ development, integrations, performance tuning, and system optimization.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and architect custom Dynamics 365 F&SCM solutions for enterprise clients
• Lead technical discovery and solution design sessions with customers
• Build, customize, and extend Dynamics 365 workflows using X++
• Develop and support integrations across Dynamics, Azure services, and external systems
• Create detailed technical design documentation and implementation plans
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance, upgrade, and break/fix issues
• Lead technical efforts around:
• data migration
• code upgrades
• system optimization
• integration architecture
• Partner closely with functional consultants, developers, and customer stakeholders
• Mentor junior technical team members and contribute to overall technical best practices

Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, This team is highly technical, and strong hands-on Dynamics engineering experience is critical for success in the role.

Ideal candidates will bring:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management
• 5+ years working within Dynamics AX 2012
• Strong development experience with X++ (this is a core requirement)
• Experience designing and supporting custom integrations within Dynamics environments
• Strong understanding of:
• data migration
• code upgrades
• performance tuning
• system architecture
• Experience working with:
• Azure technologies
• Power Platform
• integrations and middleware
• Ability to operate in a client-facing consulting environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts clearly to customers and internal teams
