- Development of the Purchasing & Procurement Domain according to the Area Consulting CoE Sustainable Enterprise and Corporate IT Strategy. Ensuring relevant business functions through the efficient use of applications, interfaces, and technologies - with the goal of reducing complexity in the long term \n
- Purchasing & Procurement Domain Architect must deeply understand business needs and translate them into scalable, secure, and value-driven IT solutions. They are expected to contribute to feasibility analyses, business cases, and strategic roadmaps, aligned with Area Consulting CoE Sustainable Enterprise and Corporate IT Strategy \n
- Purchasing & Procurement Domain Architect acts as advisor, guiding business units through ideation, process optimization, and technology scouting. This includes facilitating workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to clarify needs and define value \n
- Purchasing & Procurement Domain Architect should be proactive in identifying emerging technologies (e.g., AI, cloud, automation) and evaluating their relevance for business transformation in the own domain and area of expertise. \n
- Ensuring the adherence to the Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) framework and principles within Liebherr-IT Services GmbH (LIS) and the entire Liebherr Group - focusing on the domain Purchasing & Procurement \n
- Cross-Divisional coordination of the Purchasing & Procurement domain, organizing regular meetings and workshops with domain architects, exchanging with working groups and departments, aligned with Area Consulting CoE Sustainable Enterprise and E2E (End-To-End) Process Excellence, from idea to operations \n
- In the additional role of IT Demand Manager for Purchasing & Procurement, ensuring that every initiative originates from a validated business demand. This includes leading requirements analysis, conducting architectural evaluations, and orchestrating a seamless handover to the central IT PMO, with the goal of delivering rationalized, cost-efficient solutions that generate measurable business value \n
Requirements
- Completed studies in Computer Science, (Business) Informatics, Information Technology, Information Management, or a comparable qualification (e.g., in the field of Purchasing & Procurement) \n
- Several years of experience of IT Strategy & Consulting experience as an (Domain) Architect in an international environment or larger mid-sized company as Global Solution Architect in the field of Purchasing & Procurement \n
- Advanced Problem-Solving skills, adopting a holistic, technology-agnostic perspective and enabling strategic clarity and cross-domain insights \n
- Effectively shape decision-making without formal authority by articulating direction grounded in technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and business impact \n
- Strategic Thinking & Business Understanding in the own domain \n
- E2E (End-To-End) cross-functional thinking, mindset and solution conceptualization \n
- Strong Communication skills & Stakeholder Engagement, \n
- Advisory and Facilitation (including Presentation) skills \n
- Adaptability & Continuous Learning, stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes \n
- Living in Germany (no sponsorship foreseen) \n
- Fluent in German and English, any other European language B2 level is a plus \n
- TOGAF certification is a plus \n
