Job DescriptionAre you ready to participate in cutting-edge aeronautical Research & Technology projects and grow your skills within a dynamic, expanding company?Are you interested in tackling international challenges?Airbus Protect, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Airbus, invites you to join our team and boost your career!Contribute to a single ambition: help develop the world’s first hydrogen-powered commercial aircraft.You will join a transnational and multicultural team of over 20 dynamic and experienced engineers, where excellence, respect, and driving the future are our core values.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate on the architectural definition of the electric drive system (electrical machine and its controller) and the equipment system design to ensure safe and successful in-flight operation.Participate in the integration of equipment and systems at the aircraft level, including physical integration (DMU evaluation) and managing environmental and safety requirements.Conduct safety analyses, such as cascading POD requirements to equipment/systems, reviewing compliance, analyzing the impact of fire zone reclassification, and studying the behavior of degraded electrical drive system (EDS) functions.Support design and integration activities to identify failure scenarios, understand their relationship to aircraft and safety, and define interfaces with the aircraft and propulsion system needs.Manage system requirements and learning needs (central roadmap, follow-up, etc.).Create and review supplier data for analyses like FMEA, FMES, IHA, and (P)SSA.Support suppliers with the technical development of the electrical system, ensuring its proper integration and compliance with safety analyses.QualificationsEducation: A university degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of experience as a system engineer, demonstrating full autonomy in managing project activities.Technical Expertise: General knowledge of electrical systems, particularly generators, motors, and controllers.Proven experience in integrating equipment and systems at the aircraft level, as well as in system safety related to aircraft safety.Soft Skills: Highly curious and proactive with a strong sense of initiative, autonomy, flexibility, and integrity, capable of handling confidential topics; strong team spirit, good networking, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Languages: English at a negotiation level is essential; a good level of Spanish is a plus.Desirable Skills: Familiarity with the Verification and Validation (V&V) process (requirements cascade, compliance, non-conformance management, traceability), experience with DOORS, knowledge of normal operation and failure mode analysis, basic knowledge of the TRL (Technology Readiness Level) system, project management skills to lead local projects with external partners.Additional InformationCompany: ENSIA EXPERT, S.L.Contract Type: PermanentExperience Level: ProfessionalJob Family: Qualification & OperabilityEqual Opportunity StatementAirbus is committed to achieving workforce diversity and creating an inclusive working environment.We welcome all applications irrespective of social and cultural background, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation or religious belief.Airbus is, and always has been, committed to equal opportunities for all.As such, we will never ask for any type of monetary exchange in the frame of a recruitment process.Any impersonation of Airbus to do so should be reported to **.#J-*****-Ljbffr
