Job description

  • Inspect, maintain, calibrate, and repair mechanical and electronic weighing equipment
  • Complete accurate and timely calibrations and repairs on customer sites
  • Perform routine and complex repairs and calibration on a wide range of scales per company processes and instruction documentation
  • Perform repairs and calibrations on various weighing equipment in accordance with established procedures and standards
  • Working directly with clients throughout the process from the first onsite touch point to completion of the project, including great communication to provide client updates to services needed
  • Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support
  • Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards
  • Collect and measure data to support calibration traceability & documentation
  • Maintain records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date

  • Can adapt to multiple different work environments and settings - including Laboratory and Industrial settings
  • Are customer-oriented with excellent communication skills.

  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Have a strong work ethic, * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to lift 50lbs, with no physical limitations of your hands, back or legs
  • Able to climb, kneel, drive and stand for long periods of time
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
  • Basic math skills with attention to details, * Calibration Experience within ISO 17025 Quality Systems
  • Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods and techniques in metrology gained through education, or professional experience
  • Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment
  • Experience working with Manufacturers’ Quality Systems
  • Associate’s degree in Engineering, Electronics or other Technical Fields
  • Technical Degree or Certificate
  • Military PMEL Training
  • Metrology experience
  • Experience with IndySoft
