Job description

This position is part of the Telehealth Analytics team supporting one of Intermountain Health’s fastest growing and most innovative service areas. The team provides analytics for more than 80 virtual care service lines spanning acute care, ambulatory care, home health, outreach services, digital health, and specialty programs. Working closely with clinical, operational, and executive leaders, this role transforms complex healthcare data into actionable insights that drive patient care, operational excellence, and organizational strategy.

This is a Hybrid position. Regular on-site presence will be required for trainings and meetings. Schedule: 8AM - 5PM, * Primary support for management level leadership of a system/regional business or clinical area.
  • Meet regularly with leadership to provide work updates, set project priorities, and establish deliverable timelines.
  • Partner with Healthcare Data Advisors and Data Architects to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data for the area(s) they support.
  • Receive customer requests and develop/deliver meaningful information through data exploration, interpretation, report development and visual storytelling.
  • Effectively communicate analytic findings and recommendations to both technical and business executives.
  • Regularly schedule and provide analytic work demonstrations and hands-on training for customers to promote understanding and independent consumption of analytic work.
  • Augment technical skillset through individual learning and participation in Intermountain analytic community educational offerings.

Requirements

  • Epic Cogito Certification
  • Experience with Epic Clarity, Caboodle, Cogito, Reporting Workbench, or SlicerDicer.
  • Tableau development experience.
  • Databricks experience.
  • Knowledge of healthcare clinical, operational, and financial workflows.
  • Knowledge of AI-assisted analytics, * SQL & database design
  • Data visualization tools
  • Office applications proficiency

  • Individual & team success, * Intermediate skills in SQL and database tasks.
  • Ability to create effective visualizations and dashboards.

  • Experience collaborating with team members and contributing to group projects.
  • Proficiency in Product Management, Project Management, or Program Management philosophies and methodologies, and capable of applying them to data analytic projects to ensure alignment with business goals and efficient execution., * Bachelor’s degree in analytics related fields such as statistics, mathematics, information systems, computer science, finance, business management, or economics and two years of relevant experience performing statistical data analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in another area of study with four years of relevant work experience in a role performing data analysis.
  • Experience without a related degree will be considered if skill set and experience are robust.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$39.97 - $62.91
